UTA Open
ACU notches two qualifiers in UTA Open

ARLINGTON — Abilene Christian University added two more automatic qualifiers for the NCAA Division II outdoor national championship track meet over the weekend in the Texas-Arlington Open meet.

Julieon Raeburn ran 10.30 Saturday in the 100 meters, the first time he has competed in the event this year, while Alfred Rugema qualified for the national track meet in the 5,000 in just his second time to compete this year. Rugema, the NCAA indoor meet record holder in the mile, ran 14:19.15 Friday.
