ACHS 52, Paint Creek 34

Brian Brokaw completed eight passes, four of which went for touchdowns in Abilene Christian High's 52-34 win over Paint Creek in the Six-Man season opener for the Panthers.

Brokaw completed eight of 14 passes for 190 yards and also caught a touchdown pass from Louis Lerma. David Wilson had two catches for 103 yards and one touchdown.

Austin Cunningham, Nick Williams, Scott Whitlock and Andy Williams also caught touchdown passes for the Panthers.

Defensively, ACHS was led by Ryan Davis, who had eight tackles and one interception, and Scott Whitlock, who had seven tackles and two fumble recoveries.
