BALLINGER -- J.J. Martinez caught a pair of touchdown passes to lead Ballinger to a 31-7 victory over Merkel.

Martinez caught his first TD in the first quarter from 29 yards out, giving the Bearcats a 14-0 lead.

Ballinger quarterback Tyler McGee gave the Bearcats a 21-0 lead in the second quarter on a seven-yard run.

The Badgers scored their only touchdown with 11:32 to play in the third quarter on a 73-yard dash from Chad McCllellan.
