Breckenridge 47, Clifton 7

BRECKENRIDGE -- Byron Polley scored on runs of 35 and 52 yards en route to a 187-yard rushing performance on just eight carries as top-ranked Breckenridge downed Clifton, 47-7.

The Buckaroos led 14-0 after one quarter and 34-0 at halftime.

Jake Herring scored on a 16-yard pass from Cliff Watkins while Corey Wimberley had a 55-yard interception return for a touchdown in the second quarter.

Skipper Roberson added a 7-yard touchdown run and Herring scored on a 4-yard run to account for Breckenridge's second-half scoring.
