ROBERT LEE - Steve Eldred scored the game's only touchdown with less than 11 minutes to play to rally Bronte to a baseball score-like 6-2 win over Robert Lee here Friday.

The win evens Bronte's record at 2-2 while Robert Lee lost for the third time in four games.

Robert Lee's only points came when the Bronte center snapped the football over the punter's head and out of the end zone.

The Steers otherwise could muster no offense against the Longhorns, who gamve up just 73 yards rushing and minus three yards on a single pass completion.

Robert Lee's defense didn't play badly, either, giving up 132 total yards and the one touchdown.
