Bronte 41, Eden 7

BRONTE -- Bronte upped its District 13-A record to 3-0 with a 41-7 smacking of the Eden Bulldogs here Friday.

Tailback Daniel Delacerda paced the victory, carrying 20 times for 145 yards and scoring twice. His TD runs covered 15 and 20 yards.

Fullback Steve Eldred, only a freshman, had six carries for 71 yards and two touchdowns. The socring runs covered 30 and two yards.

Quarterback Rodney Adams carried only three times, but rolled up 72 yards, scoring once on a five-yarder. He also threw a 19-yard TD pass to Dustin Holland.

Eden's lone score came on an 85-yard pass from Carl Stoval to Kendal Castleberry and John Myer's PAT kick gave the visitors a shortlived lead, 7-6.
