Colorado City 20, Lamesa 16

LAMESA -- Randy Byington caught a touchdown pass and ran for another in the second half, and Colorado City shut down Lamesa's passing attack as the Wolves rallied for a 20-16 District 3-3A victory.

Juan Barrioz, who ran for 247 yards, scored twice in the first half to put the Tornadoes ahead, 14-7 in the third. But Byington tied the game at 14 in the third quarter with a 19-yard scoring catch from Justin Hill and ran for a 4-yard score in the fourth as the Wolves earned the road victory.
