Colorado City 45, Clyde 7

COLORADO CITY - Colorado City improved to 3-1 for the season - it's only loss to No. 1 state-ranked Stanton - with a 45-7 clobbering of Clyde here Friday.

The Bulldogs fell to 2-2.

Randy Byington and Justin Hill had big hits for the Wolves. Byington caught two long touchdown passes from Hill covering 49 and 56 yards. Byington also booted a 40-yard field goal.

Hill completed 14 of 22 passes for 264 yards.

Terry Green also scored twice for Colorado City, scoring the game's first TD on a 16-yard run and adding a 36-yarder midway through the third quarter.

Clyde's only touchdown came on Cody Brown's 1-yard run in the second quarter that closed the Wolves' lead to 14-7.

Colorado City piled up 526 total yards while Clyde mustered 239.
