Brady 24, Comanche 7

BRADY - Comanche tumbled hard from the ranks of the unbeaten, falling 24-7 to Brady here Friday night.

Both teams now are 3-1 for the season.

The Bulldogs jumped off to a 14-0 lead as Craig Tally fired a 38-yard touchdown pass to Josh Torres and Michael Shipman rushed for the first of his two TDs.

Comanche's only point came midway through the second quarter on defense as Jerrod Holland recovered a blocked punt in the Brady end zone.

Brent Raybian booted a 37-yard field goal with only 33 seconds left in the half to give Brady a 17-7 halftime lead.

The only points of the second half came with less than two minutes to play when Shipman, who rushed for a game-high 106 yards on 22 carries, scored again.

Brady had 279 total yards to just 189 for Comanche. Dusty Brawley led Comanche with 82 yards rushing.

Five turnovers, four of those lost fumbles, didn't help the Indians' victory chances.
