Cross Plains 34, Miles 27

MILES -- Scott Mackey ran for four touchdowns as Cross Plains rallied for a 34-27 win over Miles in a District 13-1A contest.

Mackey scored on four consecutive touchdown runs of 1, 5, 33 and 12 yards as the Buffaloes (2-6, 2-1) turned a 21-0 deficit into a 28-21 lead.

Jody Pancake secured the win with a 19-yard touchdown run halfway through the fourth quarter.

Ty Groat ran for 114 yards and two touchdowns to help Miles (3-5, 1-2) to an early lead. Omar Puente threw for 109 yards and scored twice in a losing effort.
