Early 26, San Saba 6

SAN SABA -Clarence Cleveland rushed for 234 yards and a pair of touchdowns to lead Early to a 26-6 win over San Saba Friday in the District 25-2A opener for both teams.

The Longhorns racked up 444 yards of total offense, with 433 yards coming on the ground. Cleveland led the way with TD runs of 85 and 91 yards.

Cody Stone added 89 yards on eight carries, including a 62-yard touchdown run. Dusty Heslep had 63 yards on 14 carries.

Charley Tilson threw for 106 yard and a touchdown in a losing effort.
