Aspermont 14, Haskell 6

HASKELL - Jack Hunter ran for 160 yards and a key fourth-quarter touchdown to lead Aspermont past Haskell, 14-6, Friday night.

Hunter carried the ball 19 tmes on the night, including a 50-yard scoring run with 8:31 to play in the fourth quarter.

Aspermont (4-0), which is ranked third in Class A, broke a scoreless tie with 4:42 to play in the third quarter, when quarterback Josh Hale ran in from 1-yard out.

Haskell (2-2) answered in the fourth quarter when Trey Rogers caught a 16-yard touchdown pass from Jason Trammell with 8:53 to play in the game. A failed point-after attempt left the Indians trailing, 7-6.

Haskell's Joe Phemster rushed for 69 yards on 10 carries in a losing effort.
