Seymour 38, Haskell 7

SEYMOUR -- Seymour waltzed to his its third straight District 9-2A win here Friday, downing Haskell's Indians, 38-7.

The Indians averted a shutout when Micah New got loose on a 58-yard run with 7:09 left in the game. Kevin McSmith booted the PAT.

Chris Peters led the Panthers, scoring on runs of eight and one yard. Jeff Latham rambled 20 yards with a fumble recovery. Joe Rogers and Tyson Poindexter each had short TD runs for Seymour, now 5-3 for the year.

Haskell dropped to 3-5 and 1-2.
