Munday 13, Paducah 6

MUNDAY -- Brandon Sosa threw touchdown passes of 50 and 53 yards to lead Munday to a 13-6 win over Paducah in a District 9-A football game between co-leaders.

Sosa threw a 50-yard touchdown pass to Brian Urbanczyk in the first quarter and Ramiro Nunez added the PAT.

Paducah responded witha 29-yard touchdown pass from Eric Rekieta to Aaron Wederski in the second quarter, but the PAT was blocked, leaving Munday with a 7-6 lead.

Later in the second period, Sosa threw a 53-yard touchdown pass to Wesley Spells for a 13-6 lead. The teams then battled to a scoreless second half.

Munday is now 7-1 on the season and 3-0 in district while Paducah falls to 6-2 and 2-1.
