Water Valley 15, Rotan 12

WATER VALLEY -- Jess Parker rushed for 178 yards but it was his five-yard touchdown reception from Colby Lacy that made the difference in the Wildcats' 15-12 victory over Rotan.

Zach Odom gained 128 yards on the ground to lead the Yellowhammers. He also scored twice for Rotan.

The teams were virtually deadlocked in rushing yardage -- Rotan outgaining Water Valley 276-270 -- but the Wildcats were more efficient with the passing game, gaining 130 yards through the air while the Yellowhammers mustered just 18 passing yards.
