Holliday 48, Stamford 13

STAMFORD - Holliday scored 27 fourth-quarter points to break open a close game and help the Eagles roll past Stamford 48-13.

Holliday, 5-0, led 21-13 after three quarters before getting touchdown runs of 22 and 51 yards from Joe Doyle, 21 yards from Chris Bogle and 10 yards from Steven Magers in the final 12 minutes.

Stamford, 0-4, took the early lead when Dillon Cobb caught an 11-yard TD pass from Derek Alambar. However, Holliday came back with 21 unanswered points to grab a 21-7 advantage.

Stamford cut its deficit to 21-13 on a 20-yard scoring run by Derek Alambar with 2:07 left in the third quarter, but Holliday blew the game open in the fourth quarter.
