THROCKMORTON -- The Throckmorton Greyhounds won their first District 9-A game here Friday at the expense of Knox City, 36-6.

Kevin Voss led the hosts with a 10-yard TD run and a 37-yard TD pass from Justin Ash.

Ash also had a 10-yard rushing TD, while Josh Dormier and Blake Weaver each had a short-yardage run for six points.

Knox City finally got on the scoreboard with only 20 seconds left in the game on a one-yard burst by Nefro Gonzalez.

Throckmorton is 2-6 for the season. Knox City dropped to 3-5 for the year and 0-3 in league play.
