Monday when right wing Todd Harvey underwent arthoscopic surgery
to repair a cartilage tear in his right knee. Harvey, who was injured Friday night against Carolina, was
placed on injured reserve and is expected to be out 2-3 weeks. Six other Stars, including All-Star center Mike Modano and
defenseman Sergei Zubov, also are injured. Despite the wounds,
Dallas leads the NHL with 95 points. The Stars also assigned forwards Jason Botterill and Chris
Tancill and defenseman Dan Keczmer to the Michigan K-Wings of
the International Hockey League.
