Oct. 29 -- Star gymnast declared an adult: HOUSTON (AP) - Olympic gymnast Dominique Moceanu was declared an adult Wednesday in a settlement giving her financial independence from her parents.

Oct. 29 -- Poor goal production troubles Hull: (KRT) IRVING, Texas - Brett Hull is second on the Stars in scoring, and is still frustrated. The winger, the Stars' big free-agent pickup in the off-season who signed a three-year deal for $17 million, has seven points in seven games, second only to Darryl Sydor's 11 for the Stars.
