TSWA Class 3A team

BRYAN, Texas (AP) -- Linebacker Adam Zapalac and four other players for state champion Sealy were named to the Texas Sports Writers Association's Class 3A All-State Football Team released on Wednesday.

Zapalac was the Defensive Player of the Year. He had 152 tackles, four interceptions and three fumble recoveries for the 16-0 Tigers.

Other Sealy players on the first team were offensive tackle Keith Bilski, quarterback Robbie Bozeman, offensive guard Vince Doyle, tight end Jason Carr and defensive lineman Daniel Ballard.

Sealy's T.J. Mills was the Coach of the Year.

Corrigan-Camden running back Anthony Harrell was the Offensive Player of the Year. He rushed for 2,994 yards on 334 carries (8.9) with 39 TDs.
