Cowboys sign offensive lineman
IRVING (AP) - The Dallas Cowboys have signed 319-pound guard
Pat Kesi to a free-agent contract. Terms were not released.
Kesi, who is 6-foot-3, was a four-year letterman and a two-year
starter at the University of Washington. He allowed only 25 sacks
in 1994, the second-best mark in the Pac-10 Conference that year.
Kentucky's Epps works out for Cowboys
LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Former Kentucky basketball guard Anthony
Epps, who finished second on the school's career list in assists,
was on the receiving end of passes Wednesday from Dallas Cowboys
quarterback Troy Aikman.
Epps worked out with Aikman before a Cowboys scout as the
NFL team mulled whether to offer Epps a free-agent contract as
a wide receiver.
