What Emmitt Smith has accomplished

- Rushed for 8,956 yards and 96 touchdowns in six seasons with
the Dallas Cowboys.
- Tied for ninth among the NFL all-time touchdown leaders with
100 touchdowns, the fastest anyone has reached that mark.
- Ranks 13th in NFL history in yards rushing.
- This season should become the 12th player (and second youngest)
in league history to reach the 10,000-yard mark.
- Only player in NFL history with five straight seasons of
more than 1,400 yards rushing.
- Only second player in Dallas history with three career 100-point
seasons and only non-kicker to accomplish the feat.
- Has rushed for 100 yards in 118 of 189 games dating back
to high school.
- Set NFL single-season record with 25 touchdowns in 1995.
- Has won four NFL rushing titles, one league MVP award and
one Super Bowl MVP award.
- A member of three Super Bowl champion teams in Dallas.
