Cowboys Cut Hervey, Seven Players

IRVING, Texas (AP) - The Dallas Cowboys cut eight players, including
wide receiver Ed Hervey, on Tuesday and placed another player
on the injured reserve list.
Besides Hervey, a second-year player from Southern California,
those cut included cornerback Kendricke Bullard of Arkansas State,
guard John Jones of Kansas, tight end Bill Khayat of Duke, safety
John Rushing of Washington State, safety Matthew Gay of Kansas,
running back Jarvis Perry of Rowan, and linebacker Darryl Hardy
of Tennessee.
Defensive tackle Darren Benson was placed on the injured reserve
list.
