PERSONAL: A native of Fort Lauderdale, Fl, Michael
Jerome Irvin earned all-state honors at St. Thomas Aquinas High
School. Also a fine basketball player, Irvin won several slam
dunk contests in the Florida area while in college.
Michael come from a family of 17 children and grew up within
three miles of fellow NFL stars Lorenzo White and the Blades
brothers, Bennie and Brian.
Irvin, who earned his degree in business management from Miami,
appears in "Stay in School" posters sponsored by the
Dallas All-Sports Association.
In each of the past two training camps, Michael has teamed up
with Southwest Airlines to fly nearly 100 under-privileged children
to Austin to spend a day with the Cowboys.
He and wife Sandi have two girls: Myesha and Chelsea.
