Wylie board to examine contracts of administrators

By BRIAN BETHEL / Staff Writer

Wylie's school board will examine the contracts of its administrators tonight and take bids on an old house located on school property.

The review of administrators' contracts has traditionally been done at the February meeting and follows the review of superintendent Cecil Davis' contract in January.

In other business, bids will be takenfor a vacant rent house on the north side of the Butterfield campus. The house will be sold to the highest bidder and moved off of the property.

Board members will also consider calling a school board election May 3. Seats to be filled are those occupied by president Don Blackburn and member Terry Beal.

If approved, the first day to file for a place on the ballot would be Feb. 17. The last day to file would be April 29.

The board will meet at 5 p.m. today instead of the regular 7 p.m. time to avoid a sports conflict, Davis said.
