The Passing of
A Remarkable Man

It wasn’t reported in the headlines of all the major newspapers across the world…
But I think it should have been

He wasn’t a president, a world leader, a movie star, or a sports hero…
Because then it would have been

He was a very unassuming man of very simple pleasures. A compassionate man who measured his own happiness by the joy, happiness and love he shared and showed to others. A man, who commanded respect, simply by being who he was. He was a man who never met a man who didn’t like him, or a woman who didn’t wish to find another just like him. He was a hard working man, and a devoted family man.

It should have made the headlines…he touched so many lives. This one man who was friend, companion, advisor, neighbor, handyman, caregiver, lawn man, painter, mechanic, moving man and so much more.

He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He was a remarkable man. He was our daddy…and
