New jobs for old geeks

The Department of Labor says that the 10 hottest job categories, with demand increasing by half and in some cases doubling, between now and 2006 are:

Database administrators, computer engineers, systems analysts and desktop publishing specialists, and home health care aides, physical and occupational therapists and their aides and medical assistants.

In other words, the two fastest growing fields will be old people and computers, which only makes sense because with the Baby Boomers there will be a lot more of the old and with Generation X a lot more of the other.
