A few tickets left to tonight's game
From staff reports
A few tickets are still available for tonight's Abilene High vs.
Cooper game at Shotwell stadium, but only for the east side of
the stands.
Reserve seating on the west side, which is Abilene High's side
this year, is completely sold out, said AISD Athletic Director
Robert Starr. Between 600-700 reserved tickets are available on
the east side.
Parking may be a little muddy, but the Taylor County Coliseum
parking lot will be open for fans who want to avoid muddy spots
and standing water.
Officers from the Abilene Police Department will direct traffic.
Seating for middle schoolers will be on the north concourse; high
school students will sit in their respective sections, with spillover
in the northwest berm for AHS and the southeast berm for CHS.
Students need to bring their school I.D. cards.
Gold cards - for adults 65 years and over - will be honored at
both the west and east sides.
Students from the southside middle and elementary schools should
enter through the northeast gate. Cooper students should enter
through the southeast gate.
Northside elementary students should enter through the southwest
gate and northside middle schoolers and AHS students should enter
through the northwest gate.
Remaining tickets will be sold at the stadium at the northeast
gate only.
Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.
