Snead, Venturi, Bolt to be among Hogan's honorary pallbearers

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - Sam Snead, Ken Venturi, Tommy Bolt, Shelley Mayfield and Bob Wynne will be among the honorary pallbearers at Tuesday's funeral for Ben Hogan.

Hogan, 84, died Friday.

Others include writers Dan Jenkins and Jim Murray, Jim L. Autrey, George Beggs III, William Goodwin, David Hueber, Dee Kelly, William Miller, W.A. "Tex" Moncrief Jr., Dr. James Murphy, Fred Parks, Dr. Ken Pearce, Dr. Robb Rutledge, Gene Sheeley, Leonard Slater, Gene Smyers, Ray Tucker and Mike Wright.

Services will be at 2 p.m. at the University Christian Church with entombment in a private ceremony at Greenwood Mausoleum.
