Rangers sign Quilan, Hall to minor-league deals
ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - The Texas Rangers on Monday signed
outfielder Joe Hall and infielder Tom Quinlan to contracts with
Class AAA Oklahoma of the Pacific Coast League.
Hall, who has played parts of three season in the majors, also
has been invited to the Rangers' big league spring training camp
as a non-roster player.
Quinlan, 29, hit .285 with 23 home runs and 113 RBIs for Triple-A
Colorado Springs last year. He's played 42 major league games
with Toronto, Philadelphia and Minnesota.
Hall, 31, hit. 251 with six home runs and 30 RBIs in 75 games
last year with Triple-A Toledo. He has a .319 batting average
over 26 major league games with the White Sox and Detroit.Send
