Rangers make several roster moves
PORT CHARLOTTE, Florida (AP) - The Texas Rangers made several
roster moves Sunday, including releasing non-roster infielder
Tom O'Malley from his contract with Oklahoma City, the team's
AAA team.
The Rangers also assigned non-roster lefthanded pitchers Scott
Bailes and Tom Urbani and optioned catcher Kevin Brown to Oklahoma
City.
Texas also added non-roster catcher Jeff Tackett, signed on
Thursday to an Oklahoma City contract, to the major league spring
