Rockets blow 26-point lead
PORTLAND, Ore. - Kenny Anderson scored 16 of his season-high
35 points in the third quarter Saturday night as the Portland
Trail Blazers rallied from a 26-point deficit to defeat the Houston
Rockets 109-105.
Anderson made a 15-footer with 3:12 left to put the Blazers
ahead 103-95, but two free throws by Hakeem Olajuwon with 53.8
seconds remaining brought the Rockets within 105-103.
Isaiah Rider then sealed Portland's win by making four free
throws in the final 9.8 seconds.
The Rockets lost their seventh straight road game despite getting
31 points and 16 rebounds from Kevin Willis. Olajuwon added 28
points.
