| ORGANIZATION NEWS |
The Eastland
County Home School Assn. will meet the second Monday of November,
the 13th, for our monthly meeting. We will meet at 6 p.m. --
earlier than our usual 7 -- to combine a Thanksgiving dinner
with a business meeting. We have the Hillside Community Center
for the evening. It's between East 10th and East 11th Streets
on Humble Ave. Hillside Village has community centers on both
sides of Humble, so check across the street if you don't find
us immediately. We'll be enjoying turkey and dressing, brisket
and potato salad, rolls, mashed potatoes, and much more. One
mom is threatening to bring her white chocolate pie, so bring
an extra measure of will power or calorie-defying potion! We'll
finalize plans for the fund raiser offered us by the C

Ruth York from Eastland Cty Home School Assn said: ECSHA is taking a breather this summer. Feels good! We had planned to skate once each month, but Great Times is closed for renovation this summer, so we'll wait for the "new and improved" rink to open in August or September. The newsletter will resume in late August.
